Commute: interrupted.

Painted Forest-Lincoln Park-Chicago

This morning on my way to work, I saw something a bit peculiar out of the west-facing windows of the #147-a grouping of trees being painted bright yellow and orange. I tweeted about it, hopeful that someone would tell me what it was that I was seeing…but it was trusty old Google that eventually answered my question (and….BONUS…lead me to that beautiful image from sharpsorensen on Flickr.)

It’s on mornings like today that I am thankful to live in a city that aims to surprise and inspire its residents.  Thank goodness for public art and thank goodness for Chicago.
