Next Guerrilla Dance Party: Dancing (in the streets).
This month, we’re taking it to the streets…literally. Thanks to a suggestion by @Spoonville, we will be having our next guerrilla dance event in a crosswalk (when the signal says “Walk” of course.)
Our song of choice? Dancing in the Streets as interpreted by David Bowie & Mick Jagger because, frankly, what else would we use? If you’re not completely certain this song is an amazing choice, you’re going to want to watch this:
Now that we’re all on the same page, here’s how to participate:
1. Download Dancing in the Streets by David Bowie & Mick Jagger (we prefer the 2002 remastered version.) You can find it here on iTunes or on Amazon.
2. Map the location: Crossing State St. at Lake from Potbelly side to Chicago Theater side and back
3. Show up on NOVEMBER 18, 2009 @ 6:45pm, wait for the sign to say “Walk” and DANCE across as many times as possible in the span of the song!
That’s it. Just don’t forget to look both ways.
